Fan of cycling and looking for that perfect summer job? Combine your cycling passion and potential jobs, to earn yourself a little bit of money this summer! Here are just a few that may peak your interest.

1. Food delivery

With technology advancing there is a growing number of food delivery companies becoming available, which of course means a higher demand for employees! Jobs in well-known companies like Deliveroo and Uber Eats are especially becoming increasingly popular among riders and drivers.

It’s an ideal job for summer, students and young people who don’t like to be strapped to an office desk all day. Its flexibility also allows you to work the hours you like!

2. Sales assistant/Customer advisor

Check in at any bike shops around town and show your interest in looking for work. If you have the relevant experience (or even if you don’t) and the means to travel, you could even look into jobs that involve manufacturing of bikes, if that’s what you would like to do.

3. Advertising

Across the world, bikes are used as a form of advertising. By attaching an advertisement to the back of a bicycle, it could reach thousands of people in a matter of hours. Unlike trucks or buses, bikes can be parked on pavements outside busy shopping areas, for instance, to reach pedestrians and are easily moved around.

It is also an ideal way of gathering market research for a product or idea being advertised, so if you are a happy, people person this is the job for you.
